Some schools have started releasing their post UTME forms. It will be of great importance for you not to make common mistakes Jambites make in the registration process of their post UTME. And the only way to avoid them is to know them.
One thing you should note is that different schools have different post UTME form design but notwithstanding, these common errors are general and must be avoided.
1. Misspelling of name. Most students don't fill the form online themselves. The typist who probably doesn't understand your native language may misspell your name. Be very careful to avoid this.
2. Wrong subject combination. This happens a lot. Many students always choose subject combo that doesn't match the course they intend to study.
3. Assuming to know the whole process. The instruction is not just there to fill space, it was meant for you to read so as not to make mistakes in the registration process.
4. Giving wrong O'level result. Some aspirants think school administrators are not smart. You can't outsmart them by doctoring your o'level result. They'll find out during the screening process.
5. Not following up to know if there is any change. Most Nigerian tertiary institutions always make changes to their schedules. It will be unwise to register and sit waiting for the exam day. Always ask people about the school, visit their website and others where post UTME articles are posted. Another great way to follow up is to join the aspirants' group on Facebook or WhatsApp. In whatever you do, don't just be left out.
