Microsoft Xbox partnered with USA Special Olympics to host the first ever video gaming tournament at a special Olympic Event. Players across USA came together in April to compete for a spot in the final tournament.
The event took place on the 2nd of July, 2018 in Seattle, Washington DC. The players competed in Forza Motorsport 7, a racing video game.
The winners went home with custom Xbox One X console each. Of which there are only TWO in the world. "Team Shake and Break" consisting Timothy Dempsey and Nicholas Rasmussen emerged as the winning team.
The duo met at the preliminary tournament in April and here they are, winners of the first ever video gaming tournament at a special Olympic Event
