Bad roads? Tweet a photo and it will be fixed - FG

According to the the President's Special Assistant on new media, Bashir Ahmad, the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) can now be reached by every twitter using Nigerian by sending photos of bad roads and tagging@FedRoadsNGR.

He tweeted: The Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) has commenced repairs of damaged sections of federal roads across the country. Citizens can tweet pictures of bad roads and tag @FedRoadsNGR on Twitter for prompt attention.

I think its a welcome development but will it work?

Twitter is not on the list of top 10 most visited sites in Nigeria which means only few Nigerians tweet. And Nigeria is not good at maintaining services such as this.
